Millstreet Green Glens Arena

The Green Glens Arena is a public entertainment arena, boasts a 20 hectares (49 acres) outdoor estate for equestrian sporting events and an indoor arena with a capacity of 8,000.

The equestrian centre hosts international events annually and offers an enclosed menage, cross country riding, hacking and riding instruction and residential weekends.

Clara Mountain

Clara Mountain is a 452 metres (1,483 ft) mountain in Millstreet. It is part of the Derrynasaggart Mountain range which spreads across the Cork-Kerry border.

The foot of the mountain is located 1km west of Millstreet, the mountain overlooks the town with its cross near the summit. The mountain is very popular to climb and also has a walking trail around the mountain called the Claragh Loop.

Tubrid Well

In the month of May each year vast numbers of people young and old travel to the holy well of Tubrid near the town of Millstreet to “do the rounds”. Their pagan ancestors came to worship the waters of that same well two thousand years ago. People come now to pray the rosary and drink the healing waters.
